About

Clayton, or Clay as his friends know him, joins Opanco after spending three years in New York as a Merchandiser in neckwear for Randa Accessories. Randa manufactures men’s accessories on behalf of about 75 licensed, proprietary, and private label brands. This fast paced client-facing role gave Clay the opportunity to brand strategize, develop new neckwear business, and manage multi-million dollar labels with some of the largest retailers in North America such as Kohl’s, Ralph Lauren, Belk Stores, and others. Before New York, Clay spent time working in Finance in both Dallas and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Being a self-professed “people person”, Clay values creating and sustaining relationships above all else. As part of a four-generation service-based family business, Clay learned from an early age the importance of client relationships, brand reputation, and hard work. Clay is a graduate of Texas Christian University and holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The Neeley School of Business. When not working, Clay is probably scheming where to travel to next!
